Customers with a communications disability can contact the Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) at 711 to report an outage. This service is avaialbe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

In addition, in New Jersey, if your location has a text telephone (TTY) or Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) equipment, you can also report an outage by calling 1-800-221-0479 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. 

When you call, please be ready with the following information:

  • Street address of the outage location
  • Whether or not your neighbors are affected (to the best of your knowledge)
  • Phone number where you can be reached
