When you move into an area served by one of FirstEnergy's operating companies, one of the first things you'll want to do is to sign up to start electric service.
A minimum of three business days is required to turn on your electric service (a minimum of two business days in New Jersey). In case of holidays and weekends, your service will be activated on the next business day.
When you complete our online form to begin service, we will reply via email to confirm our ability to meet the turn-on date you requested.
A deposit may be required prior to starting service. Please refer to our credit policy to determine various methods of having your deposit waived.
