EV Driven Residential Incentives

  • What is the Smart Charging Program?

The Managed Charging Program (Smart Charging) is a voluntary program that rewards electric vehicle owners for allowing their vehicle charging to be automatically scheduled during times that are better for the electric grid.

Customers who enroll connect a qualified EV or Level 2 charger through a secure third‑party platform. The program uses information such as the customer's charging preferences and vehicle needs to schedule charging during off‑peak hours, while ensuring the vehicle is ready when needed.

Participants receive a $10 monthly incentive for meeting the program requirements and maintaining enrollment. This program is currently limited to 1,000 participants.

  • What is the EV-Only Time-of-Use (TOU) Credit Program?

By enrolling in the EV-Only TOU rate offer, you can save 2¢ per kWh hour off the Electric Supply Charge for charging during off-peak hours. Off-peak hours are 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, holidays and weekends. All other hours are considered on peak. Please note: If EV charging occurs during on-peak hours there will be an incremental 2¢ per kWh hour added to the Electric Supply Charge. If you were previously enrolled in the Off-Peak Rewards program, you may be eligible to enroll in the EV-Only TOU rate offer to continue receiving potential savings. To enroll in the EV-Only TOU program, you will need to have an online account. Log into your online account to get started.
