This website supports the Request for Proposal ("RFP") process for Pennsylvania Power Company (Penn Power), Pennsylvania Electric Company (Penelec), West Penn Power Company (West Penn Power ) and Metropolitan Edison Company (Met-Ed) to procure up to 20 MWs of solar capacity for energy and Solar Photovoltaic Alternative Energy Credits (SPAECs) through power purchase agreements (“PPAs”) with terms of greater than four and no more than 10 years from utility-scale and grid connected solar projects located in Pennsylvania.
