FirstEnergy Volunteers

FirstEnergy employees have a proud history of volunteerism in the communities where they live and work. Our employees traditionally volunteer their time, talent and financial support to a variety of community initiatives, from tutoring elementary students, assisting in adult literacy efforts and helping build affordable housing, to raising money for cancer research and working with neighbors to rebuild after weather-related catastrophes.

Among the many organizations supported by our employee volunteers include the American Red Cross, Junior Achievement and employee driven walk-a-thons with organizations such as American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and National Autism Association.
