AF1-206 East Fayette Substation Expansion-138kV Transmission Line Point of Interconnection and Retermination Project (OPSB Case No. 26-0659-EL-BLN)

In this project, American Transmission Systems, Incorporated (ATSI), a FirstEnergy company, proposes to expand the existing East Fayette Substation from a 138-kV four-breaker ring-bus configuration to an eight-breaker 138 kV double-breaker, double-bus (DBDB) configuration to facilitate the interconnection of the 199-MW CG Fulton County LLC generating facility, as approved in Case No. 24-0928-EL-BGN. The project also includes a transmission line extension to the Customer and a new transmission line extension replacement and retermination of the East Fayette-Arche Energy 138 kV Transmission Line. To accommodate these modifications, the substation will be expanded from its existing footprint of approximately 44,000 square feet to approximately 71,000 square feet representing a 61% increase in size. The Project is located in Gorham Township, Fulton County, Ohio.
