Electric Security Plan
This competitive bidding process (CBP) is a solicitation process by which The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, The Toledo Edison Company, and Ohio Edison Company (FirstEnergy Ohio Utilities) are seeking to procure full requirements service for their Standard Service Offer (SSO) customers – which is load not being served by a Competitive Retail Electric Service (CRES) Supplier and excludes load associated with customers on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP Customers). Winning bidders will assume all responsibilities of a Load Serving Entity (LSE).
