Gore-Hampshire 138-kV Transmission Line Rebuild Project

Potomac Edison, a FirstEnergy subsidiary, is planning to rebuild 6.4 miles of its 138-kilovolt (kV) Gore-Hampshire transmission line. Approximately 2.1 miles of the line are in Frederick County, Virginia, and 4.3 miles are in Hampshire County, West Virginia. The work is necessary due to the age and condition of the current wood pole structures.
