Once you enroll, it takes Direct Payment 6-8 weeks to set up the service, so you still will need to use your current payment method for your current bill.
Monthly Bill Statements
You still receive your monthly bill - either via eBill Electronic Billing that comes in your email for paperless customers, or by postal mail - before the statement due date, so you know the amount being deducted from your account.
