Doug is responsible for FirstEnergy’s economic development activities in southeastern Pennsylvania and in northern and central New Jersey.  This includes all or parts of the Met-Ed service territory in Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, Pike and York counties in Pennsylvania, and JCP&L’s service areas in Burlington, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Monmouth, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties in New Jersey.

He establishes relationships with local, regional, state, national and international companies and economic development partners to facilitate business retention and growth in these FirstEnergy utility service areas.

Doug is a member of the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association and serves on the boards of several county economic development organizations.

Doug has more than 30 years of experience with FirstEnergy in the areas of economic development, customer service, energy efficiency and conservation, and sales and marketing. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
