Amendment Three to the Hayes-West Fremont 138 kV Transmission Line Project (Case No. 16-1595-EL-BTA)

American Transmission Systems, Incorporated (ATSI), a FirstEnergy company, is proposing seven route adjustments for the Hayes-West Fremont 138 kV Transmission Line Project, as approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board in Case No. 12-1636-EL-BTX. The adjustments being proposed by ATSI will avoid sensitive underground infrastructure such as gas lines and field drainage tile and are being proposed to meet property owner requests. ATSI has reviewed the adjustments to the Approved Route and no additional project impacts are expected because of the amendments to the proposed route of the transmission line. The route amendments proposed in this application are located in Sandusky, Riley, Townsend and York Townships in Sandusky County and Groton, Oxford and Perkins Townships in Erie County, Ohio.
