A FirstEnergy affiliate, American Transmission Systems Inc. is proposing to remove two (2) existing structures from the Former Burger 138 kV Transmission Lines south of State Route 7 and to install four (4) new wood pole, deadend structures as part of a project to support the removal of certain segments of the existing de-energized transmission lines that originated from the former R.E. Burger power plant.  This Project will accommodate the removal of the conductor between the former R.E. Burger power plant and the proposed deadend structures which is necessary to support the development of the new chemical facility proposed for the site.  The Project will be located in Mead Township, Belmont County, Ohio.
