Historical customer usage can be requested by an Electric Generation Supplier (EGS) for New York customers through the following methods:
Monthly Historical Usage
EDI 814HU
Monthly historical usage can be requested by an EGS via an EDI 814HU transaction. Usage information requested via 814HU will be returned to the EGS via an EDI 867HU transaction within one business day of receipt of the request. This method can only be used for monthly usage requests with those customers who have not restricted the release of their load data. Historical interval data cannot be requested via EDI.
Since customer usage requests require a signed release from the customer, the operating company assumes an EGS requesting usage information via the EDI 814HU has obtained the necessary approval from the customer.
Non-EDI
When monthly historical usage cannot be obtained via EDI, a Customer Information Authorization form (pdf)(also available in Microsoft Word format) must be completed and returned to the operating company by fax at 330-315-8664.
Historical Interval Data
To request historical interval data, a Customer Information Authorization form (pdf) (also available in Microsoft Word format) must be completed and returned to the operating company by fax at 330-315-8664. There will be a charge of $40.00 per account requested. The data will be sent electronically via e-mail, unless paper method is requested.
After the data has been processed and sent, the costs will be calculated and an invoice will be mailed to the billing address of the EGS making the request.
Your faxed request will be processed in a timely manner (requests will be completed in the order that they are received).
