Rebates

Eligible Improvements and Rebates for FirstEnergy’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®

FirstEnergy’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® (HPwES) is designed to transform the way energy efficiency services are delivered to existing family homes. Your Home Performance contractor is certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) to perform the most comprehensive assessment of your home’s energy use, comfort, health, safety, and durability that’s available on the market today. Based on that assessment, your Home Performance contractor will recommend one or more comprehensive packages of improvements to fit your home’s needs. The following improvements are eligible for FirstEnergy’s HPwES Program rebates, up to a maximum of $1,250, when the improvements are purchased and installed after the home energy assessment was performed on your home by an HPwES participating contractor.
