MIDWEST INDEPENDENT SYSTEM OPERATOR (MISO) INTERCONNECTION REQUESTS

MISO is responsible for coordinating the planning and operation of the wholesale electric transmission system of FirstEnergy's transmission assets within the service areas of Ohio Edison Company (Ohio Edison), The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (The Illuminating Company), The Toledo Edison Company (Toledo Edison), and Pennsylvania Power Company (Penn Power). American Transmission Systems, Incorporated (ATSI) is FirstEnergy's wholly owned subsidiary that owns the transmission assets of FirstEnergy's operating companies.

Wholesale generator interconnection requests for ATSI are managed and applied for through the Midwest ISO.


PJM INTERCONNECTION REGIONAL TRANSMISSION ORGANIZATION (RTO) INTERCONNECTION REQUESTS

RTO is responsible for coordinating the planning and operation of the wholesale electric transmission system of FirstEnergy's transmission assets within the service areas of Jersey Central Power & Light Company (JCP&L), Metropolitan Edison Company (Met-Ed), and Pennsylvania Electric Company (Penelec).

Wholesale generator interconnection requests for JCP&L, Met-Ed, and Penelec are managed and applied for through the PJM Interconnection RTO.
