Highways New Jersey maintains about 35,000 miles of excellent roads that serve the direct shipping needs of the state's major port facilities, airports, and diverse work environment. The New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and the Atlantic City Expressway move commuters and commercial travelers quickly across the state.

AMTRAK also provides passenger service to Northeast Corridor destinations from several stations conveniently located between New York City and Philadelphia. New Jersey also has 17 freight railroads operating 1,582 miles of track (including trackage rights). |

New Jersey’s central location also provides easy access to New York’s and Philadelphia’s International airports.
Ports New Jersey offers a dynamic waterway system - The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey - which is the third largest port in North America and moves almost half of all North Atlantic cargo. The state's metropolitan-based ports on the Hudson and Delaware rivers make New Jersey the passageway to ports throughout North America, offering world-class deepwater facilities to meet every business need.
