NASA Earth's Biosphere Information Available
The NASA Web site at http://kids.earth.nasa.gov/ offers downloadable coloring books in PDF format, illustrating lessons on the earth's biosphere. Java-enabled browsers also allow on-line coloring. A variety of similar activities is available at http://eartheducator.gsfc.nasa.gov.

NASA CONNECT
The NASA CONNECT series includes free videotapes introducing the patterns, functions and algebra used by NASA engineers. Teen hosts introduce each video's topic and demonstrate how the science and math taught in grades 5-8 are used in real scientific applications. NASA Goddard Space Flight Center CD-ROM
"Imagine the Universe" CD-ROM published by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, covers topics such as astrophysics, aeronautics and aerospace technology. It's designed prekindergarten through grade 12, and is available free of charge by contacting the Goddard Space Center's EOS Project Science Office, Code 900, Greenbelt MD 20771. Phone (301) 286-8955. The CD-ROM comes in both IBM and Mac platforms.

NASA Office of Biological and Physical Research Activities
NASA's Office of Biological and Physical Research offers downloadable activities for grades 5 and up, with subjects ranging from microgravity to protein crystallography. The NASA Web site, http://spaceresearch.nasa.gov/fun_learning/edu.html, also includes ordering information for books, newsletters, brochures, posters and other giveaways.

Educational Support from NASA
NASA's Origins program Web site, http://origins.jpl.nasa.gov, offers curriculum support on topics related to the origins of the universe. The Origins Program attempts to answer the questions: "Where do we come from?" and "Are we alone?" The site features answers to frequently asked questions about the Big Bang and the age of the universe, along with on-line tutorials on topics including the timeline of the universe and infrared astronomy. The "Scrapbook" page features dramatic images obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope.
