Your order should be received in about two weeks. | FirstEnergy offers an extensive video library, free-of-charge, to eligible educators and youth group leaders.
We recommend that educators preview videos they have not previously used. So that we can continue to provide this free service, videos may be borrowed with the understanding that the borrower agrees to:
- Order videos as far in advance as possible
- Allow at least two (2) weeks for confirmation of your order
- Return the video within four (4) days of receipt unless previous arrangements have been made
- Ship via United Parcel Service, Federal Express or First Class Mail, insuring each for the amount specified
- Pay return shipping costs
All of our educational videos are 1/2" videocassette formats.

Matter and Energy for Beginners: Magnets 13 minutes Investigator Alligator accepts a challenge from his friend, Mr. E., to account for the remarkable behavior of some floating rings. Supplied with a clue that these rings are magnets, Al sets out to learn as much as he can about them.
Matter and Energy for Beginners: Electricity 15 minutes Investigator Alligator teams with his friend, Mr. E., to help students become aware of the many things that use electricity. Students will also learn to identify and compare two common sources of electricity, see how wires provide a path for electric current and identify the components of a complete electric circuit.

Energy in Physics 20 minutes The law of conservation of energy and several key concepts in physics, such as work, force, friction and potential and kinetic energy, are introduced in this video.
Basic Electricity: Direct Current 10-15 minutes each title This video series presents an overview of basic electricity for technology and/or science classes stressing safety throughout.
- Electron flow introduces concepts of electricity, electron theory, current, voltage, resistance, basic formulas, and Ohm's Law, and shows the international system for abbreviations.
- Symbols, diagrams and circuits details symbols for source, lamp, switch and electrical connection, and offers schematics for wiring simple circuits.
