Educational Advisory Councils

FirstEnergy offers three Educational Advisory Councils, one for each state we serve (Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey). Each Council has a panel of educators and school administrators that meet each year to discuss FirstEnergy's educational goals. The Councils extensively review and evaluate a variety of resources and make appropriate recommendations on grade and subject use.

The Councils have worked to select only those materials that are accurate and unbiased, have high potential for student interest and are suitable for the grade levels and subject areas listed. As fellow educators, our Council members encourage educators to make full use of the materials and programs provided.
