Compensation
Journey Lineworker starting wage - $36.12 per hour

Position Requirements
Line worker candidates must:
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years experience as a Journeyman Lineman (experience must be current within past 2 years).
  • Possess skill in pole climbing in distribution and transmission, installing and removing poles, installing and changing transformers, and maintaining residential underground systems
  • Have thorough knowledge of the principles and operation of transmission and distribution systems
  • Respond to customer trouble and service calls and miscellaneous light construction and maintenance jobs on both live, secondary and primary conductors, structures and equipment
  • Possess a valid CDL operator's license
  • Be willing to relocate within 30 minutes response time to the reporting site
  • Complee successfully complete a job skills demonstration and EEI selection system test
  • Must be willing to work second and third shifts
  • Must be able to work extra and irregular hours
